4 weddings down for the year and 4 more to go so far!!!! I feel so fortunate to be photographing these very special days!!!! It was a beautiful day at Empire Mine State Park! Little M needed some ice cream photos for her 3rd birthday party, so we gave her a drum stick and she went to town! Then we wandered the beautiful grounds for some family shots. I have a wedding here in a few weeks and I am so excited to use all the amazing locations at this venue.

Many, many games of peek-a-boo were played during the photos!

Amgen Tour of California - Auburn Event Photographer

The Amgen Tour of California came through Meadow Vista and Auburn yesterday! Since this was only 5 minutes from our house, we just had to go watch! It was so fun even though they bikers were gone with in 3 seconds. The amount of CHP leading up to the bikers arriving was insane!! So many motorcycle cops! My goal was to get a shot of Lance Armstrong and I did!!!

Two weeks after the last engagement session, I headed back down to the Capital to meet up with this wonderful couple! A quick engagement and a last minute decision to do engagement photos (the wedding is this coming Friday!) and this is what we ended up with!

{Wilson-Noble Wedding} Sneak peek - Chico Wedding Photographer

They got married last summer and celebrated this spring. We spent the morning running around Chico for couple shots and then in the afternoon was the party. Great food (gotta love Taco Trucks!!) and good music. Such a great time with old friends.

A few weeks ago I took the kids to an apple orchard to attempt some apple blossom photographs. I was able to capture a few good ones but the majority were of my daughter crying and my son needing to use the bathroom. :-) So needless to say I am very happy with the ones I was able to get!

I spent the morning in San Francisco photographing this engagement session. If it weren't for the wind I'd say it was perfect!!

My good friend Nicole was kind enough to let me be a part of the birth of her second son! I was so excited and honored to be there! I have two children of my own however I have never been present for a natural birth as I have had two emergency c-sections. So needless to say I was super excited leading up to this birth.

Christmas morning at 8:30 am I got the phone call that they were on their way to the hospital! At 11:38am Jacob Edward was born! 7#4oz and 21" long.

Halloween mini sessions - part 1

This year I decided a fun way to get my name out there was to do a Halloween mini session day for parents to bring there kids in costumes for a quick picture session. I set it up at a local park and the kids had a blast. Here are the first two. Believe it or not these two are auntie and niece. :-)

So today I attempted to photograph my son with out a helper. Which meant that I was the herder and the photographer. Not an easy task and especially not easy when you are 6 months pregnant! Needless to say I am pretty proud of what I did capture in our short 45 minute excursion to the neighbors house.
